Oils, Plein Air on 5.2.2017 on the grounds of San Joaquin River Parkway & Conservation Trust, Inc. in Fresno, CA. We are so blessed to be able to paint at such beautiful locations. You wouldn't think Fresno or the surrounding areas would have much to paint, but they do!

Jeri, that's a smart way to think about plein air! You certainly captured the light & atmosphere of a sunny day. I looked up the artist you mention on the internet. Thanks for mentioning her - I've been looking at her beautiful & inspiring work.
thanks Jessica, yes it is off but since it is plein air I don't get real picky on anything but getting colors down before light changes. If I did a full version, yes I would fix those horrible legs! LOL. Ann, if I could, I would take courses in plein air by Camille Przewodek in Petaluma, Ca. She does quaint little houses that are soooooo beautiful. Very loose style. But I can't afford this time. This is painting is just a tiny corner of a very large house.
Very nice plein air ! I like the colorful shadows on the porch. I am also interested in painting small quaint homes. I live on a street with many that would be fun.
I love the colour you have put into this, Jeri, it's beautiful! a small thing, but maybe you should check the bench legs, which may be just a tiny bit off?
