Ruby, thank you and thanks to Richard for guiding me and to all the voters whom are so kind and encouraging while many of them paint so well in the way that I even can not figure out how to do it. I am really flattered. The only way is keep on improving to deserve their support.
this is AMAZING !!!!! Congratulations (rather late, sorry about that) on winning the competition. Marvelous, glowing work !!!!
Thanks, Cristina. By the way, you are so brave and did a very good job of the whole painting of Sargent. Congratulations to you!!!
Wow,love it! Congratulations!
Silvana, Thank you for your encouragement. A long way to go.
Ihave just arrived from a week holidays in the mountains!!!CONGRATULATIONS NINGNING!!!!!!!! Well deserved!
Sharon, So cute, you are, laughing out loud!( is that correct English). Maybe stay inside and paint from the photos you took with a cup of ginger tea is better.
you have a point there, but the cooolllddd! brrr!
Sharon, Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. I have never painted snow.In Peru, the lowest tempreture is about 12 centigrade above zero in winter in the costal area where I am living. To paint snow you have to climb to over 4000meters high to the top of the mountains. For this,to me, you are a lucky girl as you can see the snow without effort, interesting , isn't it?
I guess you have to be there, like you were, in order to capture the full beauty of the place...in order to paint it well like you said. Congrats! The only thing here is drab snow and cold... hard for me to find beauty in the winter time but am still trying. Congratulations! It is a very wonderful painting!
