Oil on linen panel, 8" by 10", plein air. My afternoon painting at the California Art Club paint out at Rodeo Beach -- I was painting with Laura Xu -- check out her painting of the same scene!

The next week I will be in Monterey at the Plein Air Convention Monday through Friday and then we are really into getting the open studios up and running. If you want to donate a painting to MOS, respond to the email you got. I'm in charge of the silent auction at the gala and will be donating a painting. I hope you are coming out painting this Saturday because you will enjoy Mark's demo. Stu

It will be great if Ann is available on Tuesday. There are some other plein aire groups too in different schedule. It will be great if you can drive down to our place to paint as I have been drive your place almost a year LOL!

You are on a very fast track with your painting and you don't need much of a push at all to get better. I enjoyed meeting Ed Bertholet. I've been following his work on FB for quite awhile and he has a most pleasant style of painting. Watching him paint was interesting because it looks effortless. You should invite Ann along to paint with you and Ed; and of course you can always invite me down to one of those great spots to paint! Stu
