Yes, Poggio is very good. I only went there a few times for special accasion.

I have never stayed in the hotel, but my wife and I used to go to a restaurant up at the top of the hotel every year for our anniversary; it closed a long time ago. The current restaurant on the ground floor, "Poggio", is excellent. Views of the city and the bay are terrific from the hotel. Stu

I staied this hotel couple times for my birthday. It is very nice franch style. And I always enjoy walking on the street.

Nancy, I did cover the entire surface with modeling paste useing a large bristle brush with random short strokes.  I sent it to Johannes and he critiqued it and said that I had done the texturing just right.  I have been doing this more and more.  Thanks for the compliments.  Stu

Stu, this is amazing! You do such an incredible job of painting street scenes. Handling that building must have been a real challenge. Fabulous!
