oil on canvas panel, 9" by 12", plein air. Hard to resist the shadows from those clouds on the water. Painted from the shoreline trail on the north side of Point San Quentin near the new Target store and looking across San Rafael Bay. On the left is Point San Pedro; one of the two Marin Islands is inhabited with a single dwelling and they are a favorite of day sailors on the Bay. These clouds just won't quit, but they haven't brought us any rain at all.

Thanks Michael.  I still need to spend a little more time on my drawing to get my compositions right!!  That's what I am working on currently.

Beautiful sky and shadow on the water Stu!! ...Be careful of equal spacing and intervals ..you have quite a few equal intervals hanging around.
