Oil on textured panel, 9" by 12". This is China Camp Village seen from the bluff overlook. This is about 5:00 PM with a big fog bank still hovering over the East Bay. Michael Severin and Laura Xu are still finishing up their paintings.

This is amazing for plein air. Nice job with defining shapes with values. It takes alot of mixing to get all these greys

Thank you all. I kind of gravitate toward the difficult landscape. Ian, I did use a long handled 1 inch flat bristle brush and a #10 flat bristle brush for most of the painting with a synthetic #2 rigger for the detail, accents and highlights. Pretty typical for my plein air work.
