Hi Dor I like the way you have handled the furit slices. THe leaves on the left worry me a little with no stem and seem to be floating in space. Also the colour is a little too light for realism I think . I have made the same mistake and when I look at mine they are def too light almost looking like shadows!!! I am learning though and like you am loving learning through Richards crits and the interaction with other students who all seem so very good. well done
Hi Dor,
I have not been on here in a while, been painting my oranges still life also, will post today, maybe tmw. This is teh one I like best of yours, the second try, not the fourth. Do Away With the Stripes! :) Just being honest. I like the blue curtain better than the stripes. It has too much competition with the setup itself. Thanks for commenting on my watercolor, since I have no comments. I don't mind. It looks like something that I colored in a coloring book!
Thanks for looking Sharon and commenting...........I have painted all day long and what I have done is going in the trash.............If I were not having so much fun I would just give up!.............smiles, dor:))
Looking good... the orange slice in front of the pitcher is missing a reflection on the pitcher. Like the oranges and red apple... I am going to paint mine tmw!
