Which medium do you prefer? eg. oils, acrylics, etc.: water colours but wish to learn oils

Do you have any goals for your painting?: My mother painted in oils. When she died two years ago she left me all her painting equipment. I would like to become proficient in using oils and paint well with them but sooooo very different from watercolours

Things have been very busy, I haven't been able to put much time into the workshops like I would like but what I have been able to do is helping me to understand some things and a lot of starting over. I am going to allow myself the time to experiment and follow along with the workshops how I can and hopefully someday be brave enough to put them on my page.

Everything I see I want to paint...just need to do it and make the time to add to it.
