oil on 11x14" canvas board.

After some really insightful critiques, I made a few changes. Hope it improved the painting.

Thanks, Li. I know to be careful. Sometimes it really helps to have an objective opinion. I think it really helped here.

The new mouth is very nice. Well done!  Please do not thanks me.  That is your decision and hard work. And be careful, our opinions are just kind of view. If you follow all you may go away from your theme or harmony of your original one. Trust your intuition first. I know you are good and know how to avoid this danger.

Li, I did a bad thing. I took your good advice, added the improvements and deleted the old one. Thank you again for your help.

This painting has a lot of curve appeal! The reflections all over add a lot of interest.

Yep you are so right Great colour in those oranges and the reflected light is beautiful in your tea pot

Thank you, Annie. Actually, I deleted it. I got to thinking that it was cluttering the site up. I probably should have left it. I darkened the orange behind the apple to make the apple pop. Also, I darkened the teapot shadow behind the cut orange, and finally added more light orange to the cloth. These were really small changes, but effective thanks to member suggestions. It's what I am loving about this workshop.
