I forgot to take a photo before getting into the details. The middle section of that shady rock has not been detailed. I'm going to finish it before long.

Nancy, just go to your account at North Light Shop and go into your downloadable products cick on the links. Left click will save it in your download folder under your user name folder. Right lick lets you just download, open, or "save target as" (this lets you save it anywhere you want. Stu

Thank you Dor and Casey. Smiles back to you, Dor. Casey, I am going to think about leaving it alone. My tendency is to keep fussing. Somebody needs to hide my paint and brushes from me. :-)

Stu, the original purchases were so easy to download because they sent me an email that allowed me to click and, like magic, it downloaded. With the subsequent ones, there was no email, and I had no clue how to download them. As far as the saturation is concerned, you are right about it. I looked at the painting and the blues are too blue, and the orange is too orange in the photo. I don't know how that happened in the photo. I'll go back to the computer and see if I can fix it.

Nancy, all the links seem to work now by just clicking on them.  I have been using Real Downloader (freebie version) and it works OK.  During all this back and forth stuff with North Light, I got a good tip from the Senior Marketing Manager for Fine Arts from F+W, Chris Buoscio; use Firefox if you are downloading videos, it works the best of all the browsers and it is free also.  Actually Chris is the person at F+W who had the clout to get this stuff fixed.  I tend to undersaturate a lot of my colors and use more grays anyway, so that's why I noticed this.  Your brush strokes are great; you are good at "layin' 'em down and leavin' 'em alone".  That is not one of my strengths and is why Richard called me a "bit of a dab hand".  I need to simplify, simplify and simplify.  Stu

Thanks Stu. You are right about the photography. The oranges especially are too saturated. I didn't realize it until I posted it. I will fix that later. By the way, I did finally get a response from North Light about a refund for the duplicate class. Johannes apparently was the right one to communicate with. Now I just have to get some help downloading the lessons. You are right about being patient.

Very pretty, Nancy. I like it with detail just in the front.

Thanks Ann. Richard's demo really helped with those shadows. It is an 8 x10" canvas board. Good luck with your's. All the puzzle pieces made me crazy at first.

Thank you so much, Annie. It still is a work in progress. I just wanted to see what it looked like from this angle.

Nancy, nice work.  May be the photography, but your foreground blues and midground oranges look a little too saturated for the Southwest desert.  Good brushstrokes.  Stu
