Michael, thanks for the analysis!!! This one has a color problem. A good excuse is that the light conditions changed by thinning out of the cloud layer. The greens on the back right are too saturated. I think the darks in the foreground are too dark compared to those in the back. That way the composition isn't good either. The attention goes to the contrast in the front with little need to look at the upper half of the painting.

Very nice Thomas, I agree with all the comments.  Don't forget to change the temperature, saturation,  and value of the greens as they go back into space.  The only clue we have of distance is size and edges ...don't know if that is enough to indicate space. ???

Deb...thanks. I didn't know. I won't make honey from those there. As i found out late II painted on a spot where everyone else was walking the dog :-D
