Painting with a lot of paint is harder than it would seem. There's more canvas showing thru here than I'd like. I'd even added some gel medium to give the paint more body. Paint flattens out as it dries. But by using the pallet knife, the wings seem to have motion that probably wouldn't have been possible using a paintbrush. It was a fun learning piece and I'll try again.
