I enjoy the looseness of the brushstrokes. Is quite expressive.
Dania and Stephanie, I do the same, but I usually print it out on my B&W laser printer. What I also do on many studio paintings is photograph the painting while I am working on it to check my values and use that to make corrections, often by layering. The color I correct without photo images to get it to harmonize in the painting. Stu
Love your glass and especially the reflections in your bowl. I was interested to see you work from your setup and computer. I do that as well. I posterize a photo of my setup in adobe and have that on the computer to help me isolate shapes in my actual setup. I also like the loose treatment of your leaves. Nice placement of fruit with color rich shadows.
Thank you all for your nice words.
Beautiful---very nice work
So beautiful. When I first found it I just could not keep my eyes away. I enjoy everything in this painting.
Seductive, dark and opulent. Well done.
I like the darker tone to it.There is so much richness in the colors. I thought it was done in oil. beautiful work.
Liking the colours in your painting - almost like a rich tapestry. Great!
Thank you Nancy. I look forward to seeing yours as well.
