Path to the Top

Oil on canvas panel, 12" by 9", plein air. Painted at Coyote Park along the shoreline. The rain had stopped at 8am and I was off to paint when it hadn't started up by 9:30 am. After 2 paintings the rain returned. Unfortunately not enough rain to end our drought, but it brought some great clouds to paint.

I'm rapidly transitioning to a full time artist! Now I just have to focus on marketing my artwork more successfully. I am planning to do locus tenens surgery ( travel assignments) starting in the Fall and working at that 1 to 2 months per year. My new mantra will be "Have knife, will travel!".
