Thanks Kevin! I want to experiment more with changes to the gold, since it is a metal composite. There are chemicals like ammonia that should cause the copper part of it to change for example. This one is all oil paint.

Wow, that pear is really well done and the subtle glazes on the gold is ethereal.  Very cool.

hi Michael! Thank you. It is gold leaf .... Actually faux gold leaf. I want to try it again, with the pear over to the right more.
