My first attempt at this was wiped off, I'd situated the rose too close to the top. In this second attempt, I decided to put some green variation in the background

many thanks Louise and Silke. Silke I didn't enter the workshop this time. Sometimes I do, sometimes I purchase the video only and like this one I was guided by Richard's beautiful example! I wiped the first effort off so this is the second attempt. I don't think there is any such thing as an easy painting!!
