Wonderful idea!
That is why it looks full of life and real. Are you going to invite Barbara and I to have a hot coffee in that house? I always dream that one day I can paint in nature. But in Peru it is not easy for the security reason.
Very nice and boy it looks so cold and realistic I'm shivering
Thanks Li. There were solar panels on the roofs of the middle and right hand buildings and no chimneys, so these may be energy efficient buildings. There may be some issues with burning wood in the National Forest. I will ask Michael since he lives up there. We have a lot of no wood burning days in California. Natural gas is very cheap and solar panels are very expensive, but the houses we painted are fairly new. Michael said he used to come up there to paint and there were no houses along the river. Thanks for your comments. Stu
Dorian is very observant but maybe they use solar panel to get heat.(giggling...). Stuart, it is a shinny day after a heavy snow. It impresses me most is the temperature contrast between the area of the huts or houses and right side trees with shadows on the snow. Just very real and beautiful!!!
Stu, I certainly can feel the cold. Very realistic. The one thing I would add is a chimney so the people in the cabin could get warm..........sending you smiles dor : ))
Yes Stu, much better. Your warms really make the difference!!
