Great job Stuart!  Nice color and great gradation in the sky!!!  Good depth also.  I would suggest that you somehow break up (or minimize) your dominant use of horizontals by initiating a contrasting subordinate movement.  This will give you unity.  I would suggest that you eliminate the horizontal wave at the bottom of the picture, break up the middle plane horizontal wave, and maybe just very subtle indicate some cloud reflection in the troughs below the large cloud.  I think that would kind of break up some of the horizontal movement.  Watch out for those  2 exact shapes you have in the clouds at the horizon.  I really feel the vastness of space when you look out to a ocean horizon!! ... very nice job!!  Happy Painting.
