probably singing as well - he should be - I've given him a hat (and repainted the center section!). Hi, Marco

Thanks, Candi! Good luck with the watercolor!

Ah, yah!...and I have seen all of your work!!!  I was into this crazy little detailed watercolor, and took a couple breaks from it to check in on my different art groups.  I think this detail is getting to me!  You'll see, I should be posting it today.  Makes me crazier I guess!

Ach, soory about that, Candi - thanks for taking the trouble to look at my stuff! Wouldn't it be easier just to select my page and open my gallery to look at them? I've just done that for you and seen all your works here on TCA! - great!

Jon!  You had me thoroughly confused...had to copy and paste your paintings on to a word document to compare!  Got it now (I think) you have submitted three paintings for this workshop correct?!    The scale of this is much better; but, to me, the scale still seems a bit off between the gondolier and Alice and Claude

Love the sky and the golden buildings!

Thanks, Nancy - it seems to have been an inspiration to most everyone!

I really like your take on this assignment, Jon. I especially like water, the figure in the gondola and your background buildings. Well done!

Thanks, Michael. I'm so pleaded - BUT I am now faced with my familiar dilemma that, usually, once I'm familiar with the subject (and I sure worked on it - six paintings of it with 3 different views) if I do an ultimate final version it's often the 'best' - but I just dunno if I have the "courage" (as they say in French) to make that final attempt!!!
