Repaired canvas

I damaged a finished painting while framing, a 1/2 inch cut in one corner of the canvas.  I repaired it by securing a canvas patch on the back with acid free glue and touching up the paint on the front.  The repair is invisible from the front.  What are the ethical issues with entering this piece in a juried show, or selling it.  Larry

Not sure about showing but if I sold it I would just let them know.
