This is really an exciting painting Rick!! ..It has a magical quality.  I love the way you have interacted color to join shape to shape in a harmonic way.  Line serves a definite purpose here and contrasts nicely with the color shapes.  Compositional wise, there is a lot going on here Rick ...I can see and feel it, but do not have enough knowledge to explain it.
