das not mean that it was not from the " soul of the artist" ... maybe even more since not so much thinking and planin happened and since I enjoyed so much.. (:

And here I was thinking that this painting had been torn from the soul of the artist, LOL!

Karlo its very interesting to read how you did this study and see the other photos of the people involved with the backdrops. I don't think Bob Ross TV shows ever made it to Australia so I'll check him out on Youtube and see what I can find. Anyhow, after your explanation of the process of this painting's birth, I still think its a great painting.

Thanks Karlo.  I actually did a Bob Ross type painting a few years ago.  It is fun.  Bob Ross died some time ago in his 50s from a maligant tumor (lymphoma), but his shows still run on American TV channels.  He got a lot of people to start painting over the years, and all of his disciples still go around the country giving courses.  Very good of you to do this for young artists.  Stu

Hi Lyndon, this I made from imagination. I cannot even say from imagination, because I just started with blue sky, and then some mountain just some shapes which will be interesting...i dont know if you ever saw Bob Ross painting some mountains.. in that way..Next day i found few flies attacked on my clear blue sky. I tried to scrape them...but then it was easier to make some clouds ... then insted of trees and lake and little house (as normally Ross would do) i just contnued with mountains ridges... as it was so interesting to do and fun...

it is really simple way to paint - everybody should try once. I actually show that to my painting group friends (5 ladies), and idea come to make great wall of used paper and paint mountains..it was kind of back stage for some childrens play...But what i want to say how everybody was surprised how easy and fun was to paint that..I will post few picture of process ...
