Hi, Silvana,

I'd like to know more about how you did this chart. Did you match values to a gray scale? How did you proceed? I really need to do this type of exercise. I really have trouble getting colors I want.

Thank you Michael! That information is SO valuable! I will continue with some colour charts today, with Cad yellow but with different blues. I am really tired, but I will make te effort! :) ! Suppose I'll finish near midnight...  I still have to prepare dinner, look for my son who is in his 'Aikido 'course ... when all that is done I'll sit down and start...!!!! :)

I've got cerulean blue and phtalo blue. Also fouda cobalt blue tube, which I know I won't buy ever again! So notsure if to make the colour chart with tat. These are acrylics. I suppose that I'll have to do the same with oils too! :)

Hi Silvana.  Good chart.  do you see the temperature difference in those cool greens on the left? ..do you see how that color could be used for a mid distant green.  Note how the warm greens on the right side could not be used for mid distant greens?  Note the nice sea green you have on the bottom row, left side? ..the summer greens on the upper right side?  ....that is how charts are a valuable tool.
