Thank-you Michael! I appreciate your suggestions and will use them. I'm heading to the mountains today so not sure if I will get it done in time for the workshop but when I do finish the work I will repost the picture.
I feel like sliding and rolling down that mountain slope at the right!
Laurena, I like the way you have designed your trees as a mass and not individual trees ..that is good!! ...You must keep that in mind with the rocks also. Think of the rocks as a mass shape ..like you did with the trees ..not individual little rocks. Connect some of those small rocks into larger shapes, overlap a few, and avoid putting them side by side ...Try showing that the side of the large boulder is not receiving light ..darken the side and then put some warm reflected light bouncing up into it ..keep the light hitting the edge. Cut your trees into the bush at the top of the boulder ..just a little ..to make a better shape.
