Decided to paint this quaint old Citroen again (the first time I set it in its French surroundings) - love the background Richard demonstrated in the workshop. I used the pencil-on-the-back of an enlarged photo of the car as a transfer method - so much easier than drawing it, though not such good practise!

Thanks Ningning! :-)
Jessica, I was just pulling your leg, having a fun with you. I have never been in your country but I know it is very advanced society. My brother in law has some trading business with your country. He was so proud to show me the equipments he brought from your country. He said that they are the best in the world.
Back to your work. I forgot to tel you that I love the overall colour harmony of the work. Beautiful!!
Ningning, these days we all have air conditioned cars! Phew! Much more comfortable than it once was in the mid-summer heat :)
Thank you very much, Pauline & Ana for your lovely comments!
Very stylish! I really like it! Cheers!
Jessica, you've made this your own it's fabulous!:-}}
Jessica, Thank you for your explaination. I thought I found something interesting in the Middle East that people lay down their front glass for ventilation in the hot days. I am wrong. Having fun with painting...
Hi Ningning - thanks very much for your comment! It was summertime & hot, but the windows were up - maybe I didn't paint enough reflections. Funny, now that I took a closer look at the front window I noticed I left out the rear view mirror!
Beautiful !!! Jessica, one question, I see the front glass is laid down. interesting. because of hot weather?
Thank you Darby!
