Thanks Jessica. You are amused me. such a rich imagination. I am going to upload the 2nd retouched  as I learned a very important thing which will improve this work and my future ones too. Thanks to Ann and Karlo. So happy that you come back to join us for the coming workshop.

What a lovely scene, Ningning.  The old man contemplating & the young boy ready to take off!

Silvana, I am glad that you enjoy it. Following the suggestions of Karlo and Ann, I corrected the colour of the green wave. I will upload it tomorrow as a final work. Silvana, you are so philosophical. Very interesting and profound.  Tell you the truth, I have never thought that. Now I know why the painters don't explain what their painting mean. The viewers can think freely.

Great atmosphere Ningning! I love the idea of the edges of life looking at the never ending waves... life is a cycle ... I love themagic in your painting!

Karlo, Many thanks! I will keep in mind this saying whenever I start  and during a painting.

(: Christensen said something like: ..it can be beautiful sky and gorgeous waves and incredible mountains and some gorgeous things in the first plan  (like your figures)... but you must choose what is about ..in painting and we must subordinate everithing else...

Karlo, you make me smile. Thank you so much for your effort to help me. I will mix some red and blue and white to the greens to grey it down. I will tell you the resoult.  Again, I appreciate your help indeed.

Really great painting ! I tried to lighten (and desaturate) even more this green wave in PhotoShop (but dont really know very much of using it.. so just used the clone tool..) enyway you can see how it looks when lightened here (even so poorely done..), So I would try to lighten even little more in value .. (still green but closer to other part of the wave..) maybe just put over piece of nylon and try to paint over - so you check if you like more or not..
