very well done Ningning!
Great Ningning!!!!
Beverly, I am very glad that you enjoy it. Thanks.
Roberta, Thank you for your encouragement. Maybe, I should put on more paint. As I was so unsure about how to do the clouds, every brush stroke was a try. Next time I might be more selfconfident.
Jessica, Thank you. Although, it was a very small study, I could not let it go without some details. You are right, I intent to enhence the perspectives.
George, Thank you so much for your time to write such long comment to encourage me. Yes, it is painted wet in wet then I soften the colour. Few days later I corrected some things I did not like. Now, I realised that the earth a bit too bright and the shadow of the posts are in wrong angle. Anyway I will wait to see more critiques to modify them together. This workshop is a tough one as those clouds do not have a solid shape. You really cheer me up, Thank you again.
wonderful!
Wow, Ningning, this is so well done. Beautiful brushstrokes, colours, and atmosphere.
So beautifully done, Ningning - and the posts really add a lot of interest to the foreground.
This is the first sunset (believe allaprima as it was not specified) I like more than mine, (except RR one).
The reason is simple; It has atmosphere, perspective, color and what is the most important, it has sugestion of last sun shining on earth.
Sunset means that light is slowly hiding after the horisont and the dark impire hold the line gradually.
The repetative trees/bushes are showing the progress of how dark is fighting agains ligth.
The last light is washing the plain terrain and the pols are the witness of that effect.
The rest, sky colors and play of reds and blues plus whit and yellows/oranges are the general colors which all of us know that have to be there.........Great painting!
