Michael, Thank you so much. Please click my photo and it will take you to my page. On that page you will find all my uploaded photos. Please click "View all", than from those photos, you will see the reference photo for this painting. I did not follow the colour of the reference photo, I put more redish colour as that was the impression I got from North America when I visited there.  It is me should say that I am sorry to bother you and take your time to help me. By the way, this photo of painting is a bit darker than the original as there was no enough light when I took the photo, just for your reference. Thank you again for your care!

Ann, I found it , Tip Tue through the Tuelips, it is one of my favourate of your work. Very nicely done by well controled knif. Some heavy, some light touch. I get your idea.I will  paint the trunks and leaves on the ground and everything in the front and middle ground in knif. I will try my best. Again, Ann, I appreciate your help indeed.

Ann, again please let me hug you. Thak you so much for your valuable idea. By the way, I only painted the main body of the leaves. Other part of the painting just a basic wash.  I will improve them later as you suggested with similar texture to tie it together. I am leaving  to check your page now.

Hi Ningning, I like the color and texture of the leaves but they don't seem to belong to this painting. I think the whole painting needs to be similar texture to tie it together. I like the glow of light on the tree leaves with nice progression. On my page is a  tree painting that has palette knife texture that I used all over the painting for a colorful heavy texture. Michael will give you better instruction I just know if I like it !

This painting is unfinished. I just be scared by what I did to those leaves. Do they look too aggressive or threatening?

At the begining, I was using brushes. But could not build up the texture of those mixed colour leaves. Just like Silvana told me that it is difficult to paint. So I picked up my palett knife to fight against those leaves. As I did not know how to use knif , I droped it several times and put on maybe too much paints. the whole procedure was scary and messy.

Now, when I look at them I feel that they are too strong in body and texture. Threatening, I should say. Maybe,as  I have never done knif painting before, it makes me feel strange.

Before I put on more paint(very costy in Lima) and spend more time to shape them and correct the value and colours, I need  your opinion and suggestion of what I should do.  Should I continue or take them off and back to the beginning by using brush to do them patiently?  If you think that  it is so fas so good, My question would be,I have to put many leaves on the ground, should I also use knif?  the trunks of the trees have to be done with knif? if not, the painting may look like having a heavy head ?

Michael, many thanks for your valuable suggestions which gave me courage to start it. I am very happy about the colour you recominded. The colour of theleaves are beautiful, isn't it?  About my doubt of the texture created by the knif, I would also be eager to listen to your thought.
