A yellow rose

I found this really challenging -I scraped the whole thing or sections of it off more than once! This is the 2nd time I've painted a rose & having done so, I have even more admiration for those artists on this site who paint flowers so beautifully!

Certainly good practise in trying to paint shapes & values accurately with as few brush strokes as possible.
