just my opinion though.  orange and purple kinda clash to me.

nice!  I would grey down the colors in the water so the boat is more of the center of interest.  Seagulls are great, too.

Thank you.  Saghi, I did copy a few Edgar Payne's, but google pictures of his paintings.  You get some nice photo's on google.  I only have one book of Edgar Payne Jon gave me last year (Composition of Outdoor Painting) but there is not nice pictures in you can copy.  The photos are to small.  You get nice images on internet.  I think he is one of the best masters to learn from if you want to study optical mixing.

Beautiful painting Aurelia!! ......the top of the pier was a little confusing to me ...but I see it now!  :))  At first, I thought it was the beach, then I realized it was a pier.
