Maybe the tree on the right needs to be less dense, not so many leaves, so you can see what is behind it. Very nice.

Thanks Silvana.  Spring is just getting under way up here.

Thanks Montalvo.  I painted the grass with a #4 script liner.  This isn't a workshop painting.  I started with a #16 flat bristle, but most of the painting was done with a #10 flat and #2 flat.  I like that the tree made you wonder what was behind it.  A little mystery maybe?

Larry, I think it is spectacular! It's as if it were the beginning of spring, some trees at the back with almost no leaves, and the tree at the front with those leaves which have just started to photosynthesize!

Wow......wow! The water, the tree to the left and the trees across the river.  I love the whole thing.. but the pine tree to the right.. i just want to get my hand and move it out of the way. I feel like im sitting  in your painting and i want to see the whole river but the tree to the right is in the way for me (very well painted by the way) Im no expert on the placement of things i just know what i like when im in nature so ...anybody else????  Dear lord Larry..what size brush for the blades of grass?? Very nice.
