Thanks, Jessica. I have a number of problems in this - making the dry river bed "read" is one of 'em. But I feel fairly plased with it - actually been on the spot often seems to help get more 'feeling', I guess.

Lovely colour in this one, Jon - is that a dry river bed?  Must be an even more beautiful scene when the river is full!
