My Sargent's slice....

Ok.... this is what I have got so far. The paint is still wet, so perhaps the colours are not exact, but fortunately there is still time for correcting this slice for the Group Project. There is a tape surrounding the 10 x 10 inches, but I don't want to take it off until it is dry... feel free to comment so that it can be improved! The piece belongs to the grass at the bottom. It's easy to find!

I have never done anything like this before... it is sure a lot of fun, and also a headache at moments...! I even looked for Sargent's colour paletteand tried to use his colours.... and I have practiced all type of techniques.... I have corrected some other 'grasses'... and when I photograph it I will post it again. Thanks again for your feedback!

Though this is driving me crazy... I still have some days to correct it... what also makes me crazy is to think that Mr Sargent must have just placed some brush strokes and voilà.... with all the brush strokes I have used, he must surely have finished the whole painting!!!!
