I watched some of this demo and I think that yours is wonderful ! Your use of energy with the ocean is outstanding.Joe will be proud. I tried to join the facebook page JV landscape Alumni but have not been accepted yet. I put in my request about 2 weeks ago. Is there  way for me to join or is it private ?

Thanks Mike ..this is not my composition but from a Jo course the other day. I do not feel time will allow for ours ..but I am sure going to try to get it in on time. Hope I can do it ...

Well Donna, this is pretty doggone good!!!!  Your secondary, triadic color scheme fits well with this painting!! ...very nice composition!!...your jagged forms give authority to the crashing waves ..everything here suggests excitement, set against the serenity of the suns setting glow.  This is a fine example of how to create a mood utilizing the elements of composition.  Those who are struggling with composition, should study this painting.
