Lee, great concept.  Your use of a double complimentary color scheme was well handled. I like the repeat of the violets in the top of the chalice. ..well done.  You might want to use less saturation in the blue of your drape ...let the tangerine be the most vivid.  The drape should be part of the background.  There is a composition problem with the drape also ...it diagonally cuts the canvas in half ..and ... it shows the light source coming from a different direction then the rest of the painting.  I love the rest of the painting .... great job on the illusion of making the elements look so real!!!!  ... just that slight composition thing ..but easily fixed. :)
