There has to be some Browns in those waters. Dynamic painting.

Hi Norm, very nice use of high contrast and value structure.  I really like how you simplified your values into ..um let's see ...  4 values?  .. very good.  Composition:  Maybe think about creating unequal masses Norm .. the waterfall sits smack dab in the middle of a light and dark mass .. both equal.  You also need some variety in your repetition of the rocks in light ... Repetition and variety give you unity and harmony .. try putting some rock in shadow on the other side .. not many though.  Your rocks are slamming up against the darker trees .. when you do that, it creates a kind of tension you really do not want .. solution:  show some of the rocks between the trees .. in nature, those rocks are not all of a sudden just stopping at the trees.  I really love your handling of the waterfall !! .. Wow!!!  Okay, that's it Norm.  Happy Painting. :)
