Thanks Montalvo and Caryl.  I too find the power of the sea humbling and more than a bit frightening.  A video on youtube inspired me to paint this.  At times the boat is completely under water, but it just keeps going.

I love this painting... Not so sure about the wave in the background just about to break.. oh big trouble ! I feel sea sick already. The way you have done the waves is incredible.

I love the power of the waves. I would really love to tackle the power of the ocean. I love this piece! Im wondering how the captain and the crew are feeling. By the look of it it seems  there going to make it! Great job Larry.
