Hi Michael - thank you so much, not even close to mastering this medium. I can't claim credit for a lot of design here, the photo reference supplied by 'Living with wolves' did most of the work - however, it was a wonderful exercise in recognising the elements of composition, so your critique is incredibly valuable!

Wonderful composition Sandi.  I love the way your elements lead us into the distant light ..then you give us something to look at ...the other wolves!! ...a focal point AND an area of interest.  You are certainly a master of your craft. :))

Hi Betsy - thank you so much, but I am only a beginner...learning all the time, a long way to go to master this medium -  but isn't the voyage a ton of fun?!

Wow! Sandi. I wish that I could master oils at least half as well as you have mastered watercolor. I really like the moodiness of the fog.
