Candi, I love how you expressed the ruggedness of those cliffs. Lovely painting.

Hi Walda, I lived in Hawaii for 12 years, which is really beautiful, but Southern New Mexico has it's own different kind of beauty!    There isn't a day that goes by that I don't remark on how beautiful our Organ Mountains and skies are! There is lots to paint (when it's not too hot).  If you roll through here again, let me know!!!

Nice transition from sky to ocean.  It really glows.  See you live in Las Cruces.  We've really enjoyed your area while visiting with our camper.  Lots to paint!!

Great colour in your ocean Candi it's very convincing.  Love how you've balanced your warm and cool areas, you have done a good painting here.  I can understand and i'm with you when you say about it being the hardest so far but it's a great learning experience and I've seen people blossom and grow so much over the last few years on this site .  We're all like sponges soaking up all the wonderful advice and technique.  So, see you on the next one where we can once again strive for our personal best have some fun and who knows maybe a Masterpiece!! :-}}}

Candi that's how I usually paint so if you look back at my workshop paintings you'll find a lot of mud!! I'm just getting the idea of alla prima!
