Thank you for your encouragement, Thomas, Laura & Lori!  Thomas - yes, good point,  there probably is too much detail.  It was a tricky composition & I was trying to create eye movement - maybe I added a few too many flowers!

Nice painting with an interesting composition, Jessica. Maybe the high level of detail could have been restricted to the focal area.
