Hi Carolyn, I have just finished the glazed painting and am going to scan it tomorrow hopefully. I have also got the canvas ready for the alla prima and hope to get started on that tomorrow. Still haven't found the right spot for a red umbrella yet):o. It has certainly been a good workout. Having a time constraint was very good for me. Had a great holiday thanks and loved the National gallery in Washington, could have spent days there.
Hello Jan, some how I missed your comment/question. Hope you had a wonderful vacation, glad you are back safe and sound. Thank you for your compliment on this work, I just uploaded my glaze (hold your nose, lol) this workshop has given me more gray/grey hair! Which means it has been very beneficial. Weren't you in this workshop as well? If so, you've got some surprising work cut out for yourself in the next couple weeks. Again, welcome back. (I keep seeing colorful umbrellas everywhere ;*))
Just got back from traveling and had to get down to some painting before getting online. This is a great painting Carolyn. Such strong brushwork and colours. Very nice indeed. Have you posted your glazed one yet?
Very nice and lose Carolyn. I like the colors in the sky and the warm in the foreground.
Appreciate you're viewing and commenting, Sharon. This workshop has/is an interesting journey!
