I am glad you are inspired again.  I remembered a few months ago you were not much.  I think winter has that effect on you.  I've been traveling with my mom through Namibia this month and just came back a few days ago with lots of photos to paint again.

Nice painting Jon!  I can feel the sunshine on this one!  As always I am also a big fan of purple, so the colours are beautiful.  Your composition is good and I like the way you draw the viewer in as we are almost part of the conversation that is going on.

Michael - thanks, man! It hit me as I did the blockin that I needed to subordinate it - your comments on my image 'Maison Abel' sparked a train of thought that's really motivated/helped me!

Thanks, Candi - it was an experiment - if I'd known it was going to be quite interesting I'd have redesigned it into a vertical format and made significant changes - but, heck - it's a fun piece!
