Thank you for that Stu, I am so pleased with all the lovely comments. This painting is something quite different for me and has certainly not been without its complex challenges.  I think everyone who takes part in these workshops are winners in their own right.  It's a fabulous way to learn! and everyone is so routing for each other.  I will certainly take your fabulous compliments with me to the next one! :-)))

Pauline, you really did a very good job with this challenge and you did get some nice compliments. Unfortunately it is often the brighter, sunnier works that get the most likes. Just keep up your good work because the drama that you sought and skillfully created here really shows off your creativity and technical ability. Stu

Pauline, this is such a dangerously dramatic painting. I keep thinking about how to incorporate mood in my paintings...you really nailed it. Bravo!
