Susie, send it for sure! I have only seen a few of Johannes figurative works, and he's never talked about a figures in landscapes course. Neither has Richard talked about that. Actually the person who teaches that best is Peggy Kroll Roberts; she lives out here in California and teaches workshops and has done a bunch of short videos. Take a look at my latest posted painting "Sunday Farmer's Market"; I did that about 3 years ago. Stu

thanks guys -..terri - go for it before it's too late! - my dad died in 1971, leaving hundreds and hundreds of black and whites...when my mom died in 1985, my brother, who was living there art the time, pitched most of them.  i was horrified!! - i managed to save some but i can't imagine what beautiful fodder ended up in the trash!..tomorrow's his birthday - maybe i will do another in his honor!!...and stu...i could never come close to your wonderful urban scenes...the detail...so foreign to me...maybe that's why i'm not a surgeon!..also - i worked a bit on lolly's girls and i'm thinking of sending it and the reference photo in to johannes...i was proud of how i adapted some of it...melodic lines...connecting lights and darks better...i'd still like to try another still life in this month's challenge - so much to do...so little time....
