Cheryl, I did this painting from a photo that I took while visiting Micanopy, FL.  The light is incredible under these beautiful moss covered oaks.  Another place I like to take photos in is McIntosh, FL just north of Ocala on US 441 after it splits from 301. Take any of the side roads in McIntosh and you will find an abundance of scenes to paint.

This is beautiful!  Did you do it from a photo or plein air?  This inspires me to go down there and paint! Love it!
