Comment by Britt Greenland on August 16, 2014 at 9:38: Thank you, Michael and Mario! I submitted this as part of a poster contest for a local garden tour. I won't know if I got in for another month. The biggest challenge here was separating the plants in the basket from the greenery behind it...in the reference photo they merged together, so I had to simplify and grey down the background to push it back. "Garden Path" was my 2nd submission, but I really don't like how that one turned out! I've certainly noticed that what artists like isn't always what the general public likes, though. ; )
