This time I added the water at the bottom to give it a more contextual view. Not as pleased with the drawing aspect of this one. I tried to make it more painterly, but maybe didn't have enough patience.

Thank you all. I cannot seem to understand why the colors of my paintings do not upload true on this site. They really are brighter and more lively than they appear. Glad to be back hearing all the advice :)

A very well designed piece of art work Caroline!  You have the elements of composition working quite well for you.  I do not mind the drawing aspect because that is not what this painting is about.  excellent job!! :))

I like the way that you have painted the rocks and water ! The houses got a little wonky. You may want to straighten them up a bit.
