Thanks so much for the lovely comments, Michael, Ann & Laura!  You are all very encouraging!  The Greek island of Skopelos has some gorgeous coastline.  This beach is pebbles though - artistic license allows me to turn those pebbles into golden sand!

Wow Jessica, what a handsome painting!!!   ...wonderful job on your grays and use of warms and cools in those cliffs ...you are really "getting it"!!   I like the way you are paying attention to your edges ...your middle ground cliff really sings due to your nice edge work and tonal shifts.   Ahhh! ..the beach umbrellas and people ....the final touch!!!  Well done!  :))
