61cm x 46cm watercolour on Arches 300gsm. Reworked piece I was not happy with - yes you can rework WC...to a point! The plight of lions every day is on the line, from poachers, so called hunters, dearth of food, competition, disease. But their family units and loyalty live on, akin to that of humans. We all have memories of people loved and lost, memories that grow dim with time yet the emotional connection lives on, we can almost see them...touch them. As the sun shines on our nostalgic wistfulness, so these memories can be glimpsed in a still moment…in the eyes.
