Your reflective light is always quite stunning Aurelia. ....great work.
The hotel was just people coming to stay, of course ;D - thanks for the kind thoughts - keep in the paint! - it's a lovely painting
Sorry to hear you are so busy! It's peak season at the hotel again? You are heading into summer and we into winter! I am still with the VAA and busy with the portrait course. From today I hired two models to sit for me twice a week. I need to get out of my comfort zone and start life drawing, like you and everybody else. Keep well and hope you get time soon to paint!
Thanks for the info. Aurelia. Yeah, I'm still there - so I see what's happening - but have hardly any time (not even just to paint!) - so I'll maybe have to stop the VAA - not much poiunt if you can't work on it
Thank you for your kind comments. This is not a good photo. I have upload a better photo on the VAA website under SIGs Intermediate. I used the colour harmony of Blue and Orange. My pallet was Cobalt, Ultrm Blue, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Cad Orange, Cad Yellow Deep, Black and White. Jon, are you still with the VAA? I haven't seen you there for a long time.
Great notan and color harmony. This series is superb! What's your palette, Aurelia?
What a light !!!
Love the color that you have used to represent the "white" horses
